Stichting Noodhulp Filippijnen was founded in 1992 by Herke Smidstra to fund social projects in the Philippines. The projects focus on the weakest and poorest groups in Philippine society, with the Bahay Aurora children’s home in Baras as the main project.
The current policy plan, activities and financial statements are published in the annual report. We also report regularly through the website, the newsletter and social media.
Board members receive no salary or allowance. The foundation has no paid staff in the Netherlands.
The board works entirely on a voluntary basis and is closely involved in the work in Baras.
Every year we account for our activities and finances. The reports are in Dutch and available as pdf.
A few times a year our newsletter shares how the children and the projects are doing (in Dutch).
