Who we are

This website belongs to Stichting Noodhulp Filippijnen (SNF), registered in Wognum, the Netherlands, secretariat Marga Klompésingel 46, 2135 JA Hoofddorp, Chamber of Commerce 41189955. SNF supports the Bahay Aurora children’s home in Baras, the Philippines. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@bahayaurora.org.

What data we process

• Donors: name, address, email address, phone number (only with consent), bank details, pledged amount and payment interval, as needed for direct debits or processing a gift.
• Online donations: name, email address and amount. Payments are processed by the payment provider Mollie; we do not receive full payment details.
• Contact forms: the details you enter (name, email, optionally company and your message). They are emailed to us and stored on the website so we can answer your question.

What we use it for

We only use personal data for the purpose it was provided for: processing donations, thanking donors, answering questions and sending information about the foundation such as the newsletter. We contact donors by phone at most twice a year, and only with their consent.

Sharing with others

We never sell or share data with third parties. Only parties needed to carry out our work, such as the bank (direct debits) and Mollie (online payments), receive the data they need for that.

Retention

We keep donor data for as long as the donorship lasts. After cancellation we keep it for two more years for financial accountability, after which it is deleted.

Security

The donor administration is managed by the secretariat and backed up securely every day. The website uses a secure connection (https).

Cookies and embedded media

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only a functional cookie is used to remember your language. YouTube videos are only loaded when you click them, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.

Photos

We ask for consent before publishing recognisable photos with names. Children’s names in stories are changed for privacy reasons.

Your rights

You can always view, correct or delete your data, and cancel your donorship at any time. Email info@bahayaurora.org. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
